The Pastor and Wife's Trail Walking Club
Step Out. Breathe Deep. Lead Well.
Thirty minutes. Fresh air. Encouragement

"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint."
— Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)
Renewing Strength, One Step at a Time
Ministry can sometimes feel like running on fumes. We invite pastors, wives, and ministry leaders within the Fairburn Baptist Association area to step away from the desk and join us for a simple weekly rhythm designed to restore the soul.
This isn't just exercise; it's fellowship with no agenda beyond being present with peers who understand the unique weight of leadership. We show up as we can—no pressure, just community in the outdoors.
The Core Pillars
-
Fellowship & Support: Pastors and Wives walking with pastors and wives. No agenda, just presence and conversation at a conversational pace.
-
Renew Strength (Health): Renewing your strength means taking care of your whole self—body and spirit—the instrument God uses.
-
A Weekly Reset: Discover a simple, natural rhythm that keeps the soul from running dry.
Our Weekly Rhythm (45 minutes total)
We meet at 9:00 AM (sharp) every Monday. Here is what you can expect:
-
0:00-0:05: Arrival, quick hello, and route overview.
-
0:05-0:35: 30-minute out-and-back walk at a conversational pace.
-
0:35-0:40: Regroup at the trailhead, a brief 2-minute reflection, and prayer.
-
0:40-0:45: Optional group photo/video and next-week reminder.
