About the event
There is a mental health crisis in our churches and community. Healthcare professionals, teachers, public safety workers all testify to the fact that people are suffering from trauma brought on by Covid-19 and the response of government and businesses to it. Social media, media outlets and other factors have increased anxiety, fear, uncertainty, depression and anger.
Fairburn Baptist Association is seeking to help establish an effective mental health ministry that will serve as a bridge to hope for those affected by these challenges. At this interest meeting, we will share how to train peer coaches from your church's staff, deacons and group leaders.
